“The astrological aspects most certainly reflect the conditions most people are experiencing in their personal lives as well as on a global level. Saturn is a planet that describes restrictions, pressure, and sometimes limitation, among other things. The placement of Saturn in an astrological chart is an indicator of where we must focus our attention.  Saturn’s placement can also describe a feeling of security, such as hard work and learning techniques can engender.  However, when Saturn is opposing two of the high octave planets, as it has been doing for some time, the indication is restriction, and even blockage from outside influences or opportunities that could mean joyous expansion.

Although Saturn has moved on, now in the sign of Virgo, the focus in the chart of the United States describes land, property, home life, etc. We can see the general restrictions in sales of real estate all over the country, as an example. But it also means a focus on more conservative living in order to build a better base for life in the future.  Everything has its phase of contraction and expansion. With Saturn in this placement and in certain aspects to other planets, the emphasis is on contraction... Conservatism and Republicanism, as a general description.

The prophecies from many ancient sources, made thousands of years ago, all indicate a change in earth conditions around 2012. These prophesies coincide on that year.  Prophesies made by Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, the Mayans and the Bible code describe conditions that range from drastic change to devastating earthquakes, floods, and so on.   We have seen some of these changes in the Tsunamis in the Far East and the floods in New Orleans.  The most dire predictions center on devastating fires and earthquakes in California.  Or even the tip of Manhattan falling into the seas. This is certainly reflected in the advent of the earthshaking planet Uranus entering the sign of Aries at that time.  It enters March 2011, but goes direct again at zero degrees of Aries on December 11, 2011 where it stays in that sign for approximately 7 years.   That is until March 2019 when that planet moves into the sign of Taurus.

I always describe the combination of Uranus and Mars (ruler of Aries) aspects as "accident prone" times.  What is hoped is that with some advance knowledge, the people of the world will begin to send out higher thoughts of peace, harmony, and well wishes for everyone on the planet. The power of the mind is formidable. Adaptability, foresight, prayer, awareness and all those higher modes of thought can help smooth over the necessary changes that will bring about wonderful conditions in the world.
