The Commemorative Bench Program in Golden Gate Park's Music Concourse is a special and lasting way to remember those who have passed, honor those who have made great achievements, celebrate those who have reached milestones in their lives or careers, or those looking for a unique way to support their parks. Corporations and businesses also participate in the Bench Program.

A generous $5,000 gift made to San Francisco Parks Trust for the placement of a commemorative bench covers the purchase price of the bench and custom-engraved, forged brass plaque, installation, repair and maintenance, and administrative costs associated with the fifteen-year cycle of a bench in San Francisco city park. Benches are installed in the newly renovated Music Concourse, between the new deYoung Museum and soon to be opened California Academy of Sciences.

The gift will provide much-needed support for enhancing parks and recreation centers around San Francisco.  The donation is fully tax-deductible, as no goods or services will be received in exchange for your gift.  All benches are for public appreciation and use. In addition, all donors who place commemorative benches are given a complimentary one-year membership to San Francisco Parks Trust. Sfpt.org
