The Children’s Council makes lending toys easy

If you have children, consider join a toy library. It saves money and is a great way of meeting other parents. Children’s Council operates a Toy Lending Library for parents, child care providers, and community members. Their collection includes age-appropriate toys and playthings for children with exceptional needs, as well as books, audiotapes, videos, and useful materials for families and child care providers. An up-to-date catalog makes it easy to find what you need. Nearly everything is available to borrow for free or at low cost.
The Children’s Council’s mission is to meet family needs for high-quality child care in all San Francisco communities. The organization is run by Linnea Klee, Ph.D. has been Executive Director of Children’s Council of San Francisco since 1993. She reports to our Board of Directors.
Children's Council works to strengthen childcare services and help families choose what's best for their children. The number of parents needing childcare support has grown enormously. They have redoubled their efforts to make safe, healthy, loving, and affordable childcare available to all who need it.
