Ever heard of the handprints outside Mann's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles? How about signed celebrity handprint art? Well, now you have thanks to James Prestion who has spent the past two years traveling the world compiling an amazing collection of ink handprints from over 100 celebrities.

David Beckham, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and George Lucas are just a handful of celebrities who have given their handprints to help raise money for children's charities. "There will definitely be at least one handprint in the book everyone will want to cut out and frame." Says Prestion.

Enjoy comparing your own palm to those of Beckham, Depp or Knightley and forty other celebrities. Other stars whose handprints appear in the book include Westlife, Ant and Dec, Beyonce Knowles, Richard Branson, Ricky Gervais, the Foo Fighters, Wyclef Jean, Oasis, The Spice Girls, Justin Timberlake and Elijah Wood.

"These actual size handprints,” says Prestion. “Provide a fascinating insight into the personality of the celebrities, who have shown kindness by contributing to this creative project.”

All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to BBC Children in Need and Great Ormond Street Hospital in England. BBC Children in Need strive to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. They want a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realize their potential.

In addition to the book, there is also a series of limited edition handprints for sale like Johnny Depp’s autographed handprint signed in purple. The unique series of just 500 limited edition handprints has been printed from an original ink handprint given by Depp.

For his part, Depp asks, “What is worth living for? The answer is, only love.” celebrityhandprint.org
