Los Angeles based clothing line, Andrew Christian, has been designing and
producing contemporary menswear since 1997. This year the company released it's first women's line and a line of eco-friendly "bamboo" and "color block" men's underwear.
How does what you do relate to green, good or giving?
I design and produce my own line of underwear and sportswear under the Andrew Christian Label. I always try to market my product with the least amount of packaging possible. I think a lot of packaging is such a waste because it is immediately disposed of. MORE IN PEOPLE>>
The new Discovery network, Planet Green
Hopes to soft sell its mission with its eco-tainment philosophy.
Planet Green, will soft sell its mission, making entertainment a bigger priority than education. O’Neill calls it “eco-tainment”. The network is immediately available in 50 million homes, nearly half the cable or satellite customers in the United States, because it replaces Discovery Home.
Viewers who tune in the new Planet Green network expecting a sober documentary on the plight of the yellow-breasted whooping finch will be in for a surprise. Did karma cause China's earthquake?
Actress Sharon Stone, 50, linked China's treatment of Tibet to the earthquake that killed thousands earlier in May. "All this earthquake and all this stuff happened," she said during the Cannes Film Festival last week, "and I thought, is that karma—when you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?"
